Probably the best internet radio station with a great and varied eclectic music mix, with no commercials, are located at the epicenter of the fires in California only in name. They moved several years ago so all is good for them (not for the residents of Paradise sadly tho’)

perhaps the best for some but not all.
The Russian's have some great stations without commercials or donation requests.

often you'll find several stations with various genres grouped under one service.
A couple off the top of my head are:
Old Fashioned Radio - Been listening to the Jazz and Blues stream all day today.
Radio Caprice - Acoustic blues when in the mood for it
not Russian but Miled music has some terrific streams as well.

I love RP too. Starting my day with them every day while having my morning coffee.

I don't know if they eq the heck out of the music or not, but using the built in AP of my amp the sound quality of the station is better than master quality streamed music from Tidal.

I find that as well through my own very modest set up

I prefer Radyo Voyage out of Turkey, Audiophile Extreme out of Greece is pretty good too.

Some alternative suggestions to Radio Paradise but do they offer flac? Or a choice of streams? A changing photo pictorial tied to the current song? Or the opportunity to download hours of music on WiFi to play off-line (great for those car trips)? And best feature?- the PSD button- Play Something Different (always a fav of mine whenever U2 comes on). And if you are a listener, send them a donation- they live off that as they do not interrupt their music with commercials. Get the app on iTunes and android.

Maybe some but surely not all. That is all secondary to whether or not you enjoy their content. I play it periodically however find I get bored of the selections in fairly short order so I go to something else.

Funny how a story about Radio Paradise not being involved in that horrific Fire that destroyed the whole city of Paradise turns into what other stations are available out there or that RP music is not for everyone. That's their gig, eclectic variety. I'm just glad Bill Goldsmith and his wife Rebecca are still broadcasting. I'm a supporter.
