Mastered by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman mastering lab. All analog from the original tapes. Best of all just $19.99 at amazon.ca. Just listened to it and it sounds fantastic. 7 left.

I think there may be some truth stretching going on. Almost 100% certain that This Note's For You is a digital recording, so unless they transferred it to or edited it on analog tape, which would be highly unlikely at that time, there are no analog master tapes.

And if there are, they are digital

But it sounds pretty good-I have an original here on vinyl that I bought when it was released. Ragged Glory is all digital as well and sounds quite good, at least on CD. The only time I saw it on vinyl it was ridiculously priced IMO, at least for a digital recording slapped onto vinyl.

That would be correct ("a digital recording").

Deutsche Grammophon made digital recorded lp's right through the 80's - the top right hand corner on the lp's looked like it peeled down and said Digital Recording.
Vinyl records are mastered differently - that's how you will hear a difference.

I've ordered it this morning too. There were 3 left at the time and it was #1 best seller :)
Thanks for the heads up!

Excellent. Chris Bellman is one of the best at mastering. When you see the initials cb in the dead wax your good to go!!

Yup it is a great sounding LP and a very good quality pressing. No background noise no clicks pops and the record is flat.
Much better quality than some of my heavy vinyl records I bought.
