Was looking for a nice tuner for this small family room set up.
No cd or TT here....just FM and iPod/Phone

Lovely example both functionally and cosmetically....from a Wanted ad here on CAM.
Great CAM member...transaction and end result!

The amp in the picture looks like it is late 1980s/early 1990s. Which model?

596 is a killer - I had one too. My kid has it now. Running a newer 700 currently. Similar sound but a bit better bass. Newer one is back to 1970s vintage styling but thoroughly up to date sonically.

Both of my Yamaha amps were bought a stop gaps but ended up being so good I had them for many years.

You are correct ....'89/'90 Model AX-430
I purchased this too as a stop gap (it has MC) and because it was in essentially mint condition.
I realize it's not highly coveted but it performs very well....so I kept it and built this little system around it.

With the A26's fills the room nicely.
