I've had my BLP-1 for sometime now, in completely stock configuration & have been thinking about upgrades for the tables. Seems there are 3 main areas for easy improvement, record clamp/weight, phono cable & feet. I'm wondering what have users tried & what did they end up with? (I have seen the thread on here with the AS impact cable on the Goldnote/Blp1). As far as a cable upgrade goes, when I spoke to Steve at AS he recommended I try his Statement level based on my phono/cartridge, which is likely what I will try first. For footers, I was looking for something that is height adjustable to be able to level the table. I would imagine with a non adjustable dampening device, you could set the table on top of them with the stock footers still on to keep the height adjustability but my thinking is probably eliminating the stock feet completely is the best route for optimal performance.
