With Christmas soon upon us, I thought it might be fun to share some of our audio wishes . Everything from Amps to DACs , Speakers, and anything else you’re wanting to add or improve on . Myself , I’m considering trying a subwoofer. Never owned or used one in my audio system. 8)

Just bought myself a " new to me " Audio Research Ref 3 preamp that I'm extremely pleased with so if I do nothing else, I'm happy. That being said, I'm planning on auditioning Proac Response DT8's and 20's and maybe Spendor A7's for possible replacement of my TV speakers and or Spendor Classic 2/3's just to have for a change of flavour in the main system.

Mark and Daniel Maximus Monitor +, MKII or Aragorn +. I'd like a Hegel H190 or Wells Majestic around as a secondary integrated for speaker comparisons.

Spent a couple hours listening to those. Extremely impressive but I'm not sure that they warrant the asking price.

Yes, they sounded a treat. Every time I sat with them. They were 14K, now they're 18K. A tad outta my snack bracket. :(
Perhaps the 'Pulsar'? Same size, down a level. They're about 8K. Never heard them though.

I've never heard a Joseph Audio speaker worth the asking price, even if they are nice sounding products.

Curious if you’ve heard something that does warrant the price?

Speakers specifically...I’m looking for a good pair

I was lucky enough to come in to a lovely new setup consisting of Paradigm Prestige 95F/55C/25C. And it only cost me $4300 after selling of my Paradigm Studio setup. And my girlfriend said I could do it. Santa came early for me :D :D :D :D
