I sent a pair of drivers out last Wednesday for repair and sent by Canada Post. Tracking number indicated that package was left at door step on Friday. I emailed the shop Monday morning asking if they received the package and got no reply that day. Tuesday I called the shop and left a voicemail. It's now Wednesday morning and still no email or call back. How long should one normally wait for a shop to reply? I don't want to bother them too much, but I would like to know that my drivers are safe in their hands.

Check the shop hours as some are closed Mondays. Keep calling. Not to belabor the point, but you should have requested a delivery signature

Why did you send it that shop in the first place. Did you speak to someone there before mailing out the speakers . What reviews or complaints are there against the place .

The shop came highly recommended and I think is a CAM sponsor as the CAM logo is on their website. I did speak to them before I shipped them out.

Was this a business or a home with business operating out of it?
Reason i ask you mention left at doorstep
When i deal with business at a company address they just usually indicate successfully delivered or such
I have never had left at doorstep

To avoid any issues that may come up... :?

I may suggest being proactive by spending a wee bit more on shipping c/w SIGNATURE, upon receipt. 8)

Happy Listening,

This is why Canada Post REQUIRES a signature on every package shipped express or expedited and insured for more than $100.00

So you did not insure the shipment. If you did, then a call to Canada Post is in order.
