I have a Clearaudio Satisfy tonearm that is sticking on the way down. I can push it down with my finger when it sticks but I am wondering what I can do to fix the problem. Thanks.

Why not call the importer Plurison in Montreal
Give them the model number and see if they can point you to a service center or send the parts directly to you.
Or you could do what the experts to and look on YouTube.

Had the same problem.. gave it a very short blast of (electric) contact cleaner if that doesn't work, than it may be time for repair...

I had a similar issue with my Origin Live 250. I used a tiny bit of synthetic oil and it resolved the problem. Be careful with any solvents as they may damage plastic parts of the shaft seal. Stay far away from WD-40.

Good luck

Thanks guys. I will give a squirt of light oil and see where it gets me. As an aside, until I realized the problem, the stylus was just touching the album but I couldn't figure out why some wouldn't track properly. Checked my cartridge tracking force and got it spot on but the problem was still there. Never thought it could be the lifter! Sometimes the simplest answer is the least obvious.
