Amazing pair of full range lowther speakers on show at the Vancouver art gallery. Looks like you can bring vinyl to listen to them.

Duh!...anything by Louie, Ella, Nat, Frank and of course the most famous one by Miles... Also, whatever you do don't bring the DSOTM as you won't get the full effect from this album.

Not sure but by their website I don't think the new one is open yet. It's site is across from the QE Theatre on the old bus station site.

EDIT: Looks like they haven't even started construction yet due to funding issues.

Well I went to this. I was seriously underwhelmed. I think there might have been something terribly wrong with the set up. It sounded distorted and clearly had channel imbalance. There was a gaggle of hipsters who seemed to be really into it though.

Much more interesting was the David Milne exhibit. A real maverick Canadian painter who gets little mention. Some of his paintings are, in my opinion, masterpieces.
