I've just finished the construction of these "somewhat" over the top speakers, save for some Minidsp tweaking. Just want to listen to them flatish before adjusting.

Woofers are Dayton Audio RS225-4
Mids are SB Acoustics SB15MFC30-8
Tweeters are a stack of 2 - 30" and 1 - 15" Newform Research Oval series.

I have some build photos coming. Today I have some more listening to do.

Nice! It's hard to beat a tall speaker for top to bottom presentation. My mains came with RS225's before I started upgrades. What are your impressions so far?

What crossover points are you using? Looks like an interesting project.

Not over the top but right up to it. Nice work! Let me guess, the next project is higher ceilings? Working on some along the same general theme but half that scale.

Crossover points are:

Mid to high = 1150hz with 48db slopes.

Mid to low = 125 hz with 12db slopes.

Low to sub = 45 hz

Mids to highs are so low to deal with lobing.

I could certainly use more space. Have to see if I'll even be able to tip them to get them out. :D

I'd like to see a pic of yours.

And a more honest, less Stereophile review, graph. I have some work to do at the lower crossover and perhaps with slight L/R delay.
