:lol: ...I think Earle developed into one of The Great American singer-song writers...I'm really hoping he does some of his contemporary stuff...

When i first heard Guitar Town I just thought wow I have been a huge Steve Earle fan from the start. Copper Head Road was the first album where he had control of the sound he was after. That's why its so edgy. Emily Lou Harris said "People wish they could write songs like Steve Earle" Seen him live a few times. Great show. I hope he's in my neck of the woods on this tour....I will pay $$$ to see him live again

That is for sure, Copperhead Road great but not even his best album. He just keeps getting better with age. I have most of his albums on repeat cycle on Tidal. His newest is fantastic. Hoping to catch his show in Kelowna.

I own sacks of his stuff and have seen him six times. Copperhead Road is not his best but I just love 'I Feel Allright' - a great roots-rock release. A stunningly gifted writer, over all.
