Just bought a pair of the new Magico A3's from the Montreal dealer, Filtronique.
They replaced my Tannoy Kensington's.

I have a REL sub helping with the bass but, after a few hours of listening to a bit of this and that, (Roy Orbison's Black and White), driven by a Pass Labs 30W Class A... it was amazing.Very quick bass, clearer mids and highs. The Tannoys were great but... this is another level.

I am thrilled Magico has made a 'working man's' priced speaker and so far, I think they have a winner.

Bernard

Congratulations! I've been told these are in high demand. These were on my list when I transitioned from standmounts to floorstanders. Is the fit and finish consistent with what is expected from Magico?

Built like a tank, as expected. Twice as heavy (110lbs) as the wooden Tannoys with half the footprint.
I cannot feel anything when touching the cabinet when playing a some serious volumes.

You'll want floor protectors as thee spikes will eat your wooden floor up!

Regards

They certainly look like magico's ( very perfect and beautiful in every way). Magico shines superb quality without extravagance or frills as some others sharing cost ranges.

I also bought a pair of Magico As speakers. I got mine almost 2 months ago. I sold my Wilson Sabrina speakers, and replaced them with these Magico A3 speakers. I was thinking of getting the Magico S3 Mk ll, but bought the A3's. I'm very happy with A3's. My amp l'm using is Vitus SIA-25Mkll, 25 watts per channel pure Class A. The Magico A3 sound amazing, detailed focus micro dynamics, sound stage, bass, 3D realism. These are one incredible speaker. Siltech

Nice system! I’ve not heard any of the Vitus products in person, but I have to believe that the SIA25 would sound incredible with the A3. A true “destination” system.

To the OP, congrats! Keep us posted as these break in. I think the Magico A3 will be real game changer at its price point, a real taste of the Uber hi end at (imported) beer pricing. Cheers!
