I was struggling with severe woofer pumping in my system playing vinyl. Most records sounded just fine but a few trouble makers were causing audible distortion. I tried all sorts of isolation products, which helped but did not resolve my issue. As a last resort, I contacted Dan Santoni over at DTS to build a custom balanced high pass filter for me. Six weeks later I took home a professionaly designed and built filter that works like a charm. Woofer pumping is gone with no perceived loss in sonic quality!

I know that Dan has a minimum board order of 5 units, so if anyone out there is interested please contact him and I'm sure he can build one for you too! Dan is the man...

Sounds interesting. What is the crossover point and how much does it cost?

The -3 dB point is 18 Hz with a 36 dB per octave roll-off. Price was $550 which included a nice internal power supply.
