You're well on your way, but how about "Itchycoo Park" by the Small Faces

Often overlooked as psychedelic:

Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In) - Kenny Rogers and the First Edition

"tripped on a cloud and fell eight miles high"

"What Love Suite" and "Lydia Purple" from the Collector's Album (Pre-Chilliwack Canadian Band) - New Vibrations from Canada
"The Fool" - Quicksilver Messenger Service
"Section 43" - Country Joe & the Fish from electric Music for the Mind and Body but if you can get the Rag-baby EP version - Bonus!! It is considered by many to be the first psychedelic record.
The whole "After Bathing at Baxter's" album by the Jefferson Airplane - 100% mind melt - especially "Two Heads"

Just a few and Happy Trails on your trip!

All the best to you,

Don

PS - tonearmcobra is right about that Kenny Rogers tune!

For newer psychedelic choices try Tame Impala - Lonerism or Dukes of the Stratosphere (actually XTC) - 25 o'Clock

All good picks above. You have to include the Grateful Dead. "Dark Star" from Live Dead would be a good pick for a nice extended jam.

Check out early Ash Ra Tempel for some German variations on that theme. (Bonus Factoid ...Timothy Leary was on a couple of their early records.)

You want real psychedelic or faux-psychedelic?

If you want the real-deal, try anything by The 13th Floor Elevators. :)
