Supertramp - Crime Of The Century....the louder the better.

James Gang - Yer Album...was actually mixed to be cranked....it even says so on the jacket.

The Who - Live At Leeds....what live album doesn't deserve to be cranked?

Thin Lizzy - Jailbreak

Rolling Stones - Can’t You Hear Me Knocking

Black Sabbath - Snowblind

Chicago - South California Purples

Journey - Lovin, Touchin, Squeezin

Goddo - So Walk On

Neil Young - Roll Another Number (off the Weld CD)

Triumph - Fight The Good Fight

Not necessarily in that order...

Kudos to the other suggestions: Dire Straights, Supertramp, Harlequin, B.O.C., Deep Purple, FLOYD(!), and The Who.

Motorhead - 'Ace Of Spades'.
Loud, you say? Wanna stand on a runway while a jet takes off? Crank this sumbitch to 11 & inhale a six-pack before the album is over.

Insane-sounding US pressing & mastering. Lemmys bass growls with menace, Filthys drums are pounding & punchy as all hell, and Fast Eddies guitar is screaming like a White lady having sex with Prince. Awesome...

I grew up in the 70's in Montreal. When I'm alone, I fire up 7400 watts of JBL muscle and enjoy various things like April Wine, Deep Purple, Ian Thomas, Steely Dan and ELP ("Lucky Man !!!").

Thank you,

Zeppelin's Physical Grafitti. I like to crank up Custard Pie and the rest of this classic album. David Bowie's Star from Ziggy is another. There are so many. The Ziggy album has the instructions on the back, must play loud. David felt it should be enjoyed loud. Who's Next is another album that should be enjoyed loud- and the 1000's of other great records most of us grew up listening to. Jimi Hendrix, Third Stone From The Sun, Traffic's Freedom Rider- so many more.

+1 for physical graffiti, it just begs to be blasted.

+1 for Supertramp - Crime of the Century. But in particular - The Party by Max Webster. We are all here to be reckless!
