Depending on condition , i see them at 3000 -3500 . The new ones are "S" model , the older nautilus line sold new for 5000 . You will have better luck selling them here at what there worth than on usedottawa . Hope this helps .

Broncomec,

The N804's are great speakers ... if they are set up right.

They will show ALL the flaws in the equipment driving them and cables being used.

Here are some key points:

1) They take at least 6 months to break in

2) They need a power amp that can drive a difficult load (Low output Z and can supply lots of clean current) Otherwise bass will be a minimum.

3) Speaker cables - there can not be any corrosion in the termination of the speaker cables (this was a tough lesson).
- I use a 10 AWG silver plated speaker cable for the bass
- copper cables for the mid tweeter

4) CD player can not have any harshness at all - otherwise the N804's are very fatiging.

"Minty" (as per reputable dealer quote) pair for sale in Victoria for $2500 US. I would think you could get a little more if someone was local or within driving distance as freight wouldn't be too cheap on these coming from the Island...

As to comparing them to Signatures - can't as I haven't heard either. Good luck with the sale in the event you do put them up for grabs...

Broncomec,

What equipment are you running the N804's with ?

What type of music do you listen to ?

I don't know the Paradigm s8 Signatures at all, but you may be better off upgrading your equipment than selling the N804's

BTW, here is my system

Linn Karik iii transport
- QED true 75 ohm DS digital silver clock interconnect
- Audioquest true 75 ohm silver plated BNC data interconnect
Linn Numerik ii
- Luscombe silver Litz interconnects
- or AMX copper interconnects
Musical Fidelity A308cr preamp
- AMX copper interconnects
Harman Kardon PA2400 power amp
- Knukonceptz KASA 10 Silver plated cable for the bass
- Omer's Monster Link copper for the mid/tweeter
N804's

Also, a simple line conditioner really helps with the Linn CD player.

I listen mostly to Vivaldi, Mozart and Brubeck.
However, this system has plenty of thump for Zepplin or the Spin Doctors.

A Brystom 3Bsst amp is a famous match with B&W speakers.
Many people think the 3Bsst sounds sweeter than the 4Bsst.

A Sim Audio W-5 power amp is supposed to be even better than the 3Bsst with the Nautilus.
