This is a recent art piece built in Kitchener.

It works. Wired in series-parallel combination circuit. Two behringer 600w stereo amps driving the whole damn thing.

There's a bar in downtown Vancouver, just off Granville, with a wall of junk speakers, shower heads in the middle of the room and a pole with bras. Not sure if they encourage donations.

I live near Stratford and would like to see this in person.
Is there a public venue to see/hear the monster?

The exhibit was at city hall in June. I believe it is gone now, but you could contact CAFKA for info.

You beat me to it :D

Have you seen "Grateful Dead - The Movie"? Great (no pun intended) DVD, music sequences mostly full length, it shows some of the crew erecting the wall for a concert.

Regards

Mac.

Hi Bandy

I have been collecting music DVDs for years, I don't know for sure where I got the Dead DVD but probably my local HMV store before it closed.

I still look for music DVDs but they are becoming harder to find and I am informed that DVDs are apparently a dying format. A pity since I prefer collecting physical media not digital files such as itunes etc. or streaming.

I guess I'm just an old fart.

Regards
Mac

Wall of 'junk' but it sure brings home the fact that loudspeaker manufacturers are stuck in the past . Rectangular boxes and two or three drivers all. Not much imagination here.

Well that is the state of "art" these days. 2 small woofers, 1 inch dome tweeter in narrow cabinet. In white of course. How silly are the buyers believing that two (or single!) 4.5" woofer can produce bass?
Its all the same, almost every speaker manufacturer, same look, same design, same poor performance.
With enough advertising and fancy product name people will buy anything.

to the OP:

I was in the store where this wall of speakers was located.
It was actually in a clothing store in Holland...I think Utrecht.
Check out my "gallery" for the pic.

I tried to upload to my gallery pics of numerous interesting record stores I've taken during my travels but these are apparently verboten :!:

I did hear these speakers on the last Taves show. Largely unimpressed to say the least.
