+1 big time. My system can play extremely loud without breaking up or any dynamic compression, so I try not to expose myself to more than a few minutes at a time.

Here’s a few more:

Ticks and Leeches - Tool
Why Don’t We Do It In The Road - Beatles
Jesus of Suburbia - Green Day
Save Me - Tea Party
Nerve - Headstones
Barracuda - Heart
Who Are You - The Who
Somewhere Down The Crazy River - Robbie Robertson
Lay Your Hands On Me - Peter Gabriel
Respectable - Rolling Stones
What’s Up - Four Non Blondes
Anesthetize - Porcupine Tree

(just some that have yet to be mentioned)

The Cult - "She Sells sanctuary", 12" 45rpm extended single

Billy Idol - "White Wedding", 12" 45rpm extended single

Billy Idol - "Rebel Yell", 12" 45 rpm extended single

The Clash -"Rock The Casbah", 12" single

The Power Station - "Bang a Gong", 12" single

As in: I can smell the crossovers in the speakers --burning up. LOUD.

When we did bar systems and other such things, we would test the system's ~120% limits for long term power abuse and see how 'red' the system can go before it explodes, slamming many an electrical horsepower through it, making everything live on the verge of death and explosion/meltdown....I would use:

LeftField -"Inspection Check One", 12" single (on CD for a bar check and system limit test).

Bruckner’s 8th Symphony or Ozzy’s Crazy Train. Heavy Metal or Weighty Brass: don't make me choose!

Santana III

While I don't think that this album is the best recorded album in history, the break in Toussant 'L Overture in the middle where the organ gives way to the lead guitar break that starts at the left speaker and then goes to the right speaker, just gives me chills everytime I hear it. Pleasure and pain. Many songs on this LP are just a guitar man's ultimate thrill. Everybody's Everything, Batuka, Jungle Strut, etc.

Pink Floyd- Shine on you Crazy Diamond

Doesn 't need to be explained.
