Im downsizing and being that im likely moving into an apartment im looking for a decent set of in ear headphones and id like to stay under 50 but im willing to go up to 100 i guess. Chances are, eventually ill move up to a higher end closed back over ear headphone but for now in ear is fine and i can use them at work as well.
Any suggestions would be apprectiated. Ps i was looking at Focal Spheres but im open to other options

I bought the R-20 a few years ago, they sound great and should be in your door under $60....

I have not owned these but check the reviews. If they're only a stop gap until you get on-ear then you can't beat the price.

I am no fan of ear buds, but I needed something inconspicuous that sounded decent.
I bought a pair of Sennheiser CX300 for less than $50, and they are surprisingly good.

It looks like there is a 'II' version now ...

EDIT: Sorry, but I can't get the link to work. Too long I guess.

I am not sure what the post above is linking to as I could not open it, apologies if it is the same thing.

These are excellent bang for the buck for an IEM.

These have been on sale at Visions Electronics for awhile at $68. Orig $250. They do fit tight but I have avg size ears and don't find them uncomfortable.

I like them but they're the only IEMs I've had: Kef M200

Agreed. Yeah the R-20s are quite decent. I hope you could increase your budget by another 50% though because there are so many good ones in the 1oo to 200 dollar range.
