I purchased this software years ago...loved it, until I started streaming and then had delays and issues.

So I have started up again with the Software, and running it on my MACPRO. Using the hi fidelity option, with 24bit and 192Khz...it sounds really good! Music is through iTunes, from my hard drive on the MAC Pro.

Previously I was just allowing the DAC to upsample and running no Software at all. This was good because streaming from Apple Music caused issues.

So the reason for my post...help me with streaming music from Apple Music using iTunes and the Pur Music Software. Please and thx.

Also, the upsampling settings...optimal at 24bit 192KHz? CPU is running at 10% busy.
DAC is the Simaudio 650d, with the USB upgrade.

Pretty sure there some gurus out there in CAM land that have there favourite setup with this Software :-)

I loved the sound of Pure Music and used it for a couple of years...until my first crash....having to import all those FLAC files again was too much...I went over to JRiver...it isn't as good, but for background music, its good enough. They (Pure Music) need to build a FLAC/DSF importer than can take entire directories or drives and work in the background. As much as I despise iTunes, I do like the way it manages the music files.

Let me know if something has changed with Pure Music.

cheers,

Paul
