What's the port tune on those 24" monsters? You were a busy guy!

Built a few open baffles over the years... with help from some wise and skilled folk ;)

Presently thought, I am working on a pair of 12" subs at present. Super budget bass for my 2 channel rig... I hate glue and MDF... neither of them will do what I tell them to do  Don't even get me started about finding suitable screws/inserts and pilot holes up here... taking this one way too serious

the double 18s are tuned to 35hz

My DIY speaker setup.
Newform Research Tweeters
Eton Woofers
SB Acoustics Mids in an open baffle.

All minidsp controlled.

I really enjoy the versatility of the minidsp in terms of tweaking the sound to suit my ears.

There is literally no way I could compare this to a similar passive system, and no way I could A/B, but I really enjoy the sound.

If there are any Victoria people who see this I would be open and appreciative to have you listen and give me advice in regards to the sound.

Some great looking projects. I am very interested in starting my own this winter. I have been doing the research and it is difficult choosing drivers, crossovers, cabinet design. So many things to consider.

Thanks much. They are a bit of a JBL 1400 Array clone but for the woofer I'm using 2234H 15s. Up top the horn contains the JBL 435al and 045ti; both comp. drivers.

The horn module contains passive filtering for the two compression drivers and I'm bi-amping between that and the woofer.

I have a Venu360 on the way and am excited to get them tuned up with it.

Warren

Warren, I have the Venu 360 and its great... use it on my jbl 4345's, 4355's and 4351's... love the auto eq feature... really dials the horns in.
