Thanks, semi-retirement has its perks, like time for music and painting.

A record crate built with Ikea mattress support wood things. Slats is the word ...
The ones with the fabric ribbon holding them together.

I added some old angle irons to the corners.

Very nice. Good idea on the LED back light. Are the colours changeable?

Could you kindly provide more information on how you created the screen? What is the material of the screen and the border and how did you tension it?

Screen material is blackout cloth with 2" black felt tape.

Refer to this https://www.flickr.com/photos/s2kov/albums on how i did it.

Its hard to tell much from this but basically a plywood aquarium. Internal dimensions are 72"x32x30 - approx. 300 Gallons. Sitting on a real strong stand and will be made water tight. Big filteration, custom lighting... big job lol

Good morning all, I finally added a second arm to my custom VPI turntable. I will be running a dedicated mono cartridge. It is a custom plinth that I had constructed veneered with Macassar Ebony. Now I am on the hunt for a mono cartridge.

Just finished diy cabs (not pretty but built like a proverbial tank), dropped in new Audio Nirvana Classic 8+ full range drivers,
and 'gobsmacked' doesn't begin to describe my first impressions. I have owned ALOT of sub $5K speakers in my time -
(Linn, A/R, Avid, Rogers, Dali etc.), and these absolutely blow them all out of the water and keep sounding better as they break in.

Amazing with Schiit Saga pre and Cary SLA70 amp. HIGHLY recommended, can't say enough...

Well, here are some parts I made for light fixtures.
