I am in central Edmonton next weekend and hope to get to a couple audio stores looking for some equipment, and possibly some vinyl. Any recommendations? Thank you for your help.

You can check out National Audio Video - 14216 Stony Plain Rd, ask for Kent. They've been fantastic to me. Ph: 780-454-4288.

Also, Audio Ark - 10745 124 St, ask for Andrew. Also fantastic and only 5 min's drive from National Audio Video. Ph: 780-453-6624. (If you are by chance in the market for speakers, check out the Bryston Mini A's they have. Really impressive speakers!)

The Gramophone, in Old Strathcona area - 7913 104 St NW. Ph: 780-428-2356. Also quite good, but can seem a little standoffish at first. These guys have a very nice selection of Vinyl and CD's right in the store too.

Those would be my top three picks, but there's also Audio 5.1 and S&M High Fidelity, both are within 5 min drive from The Gramophone. Good Luck!

It's been 20 years since I last lived in Edmonton, but those are very solid recommendations. :D
