Kodiac, a good deck will cost around $200 and up. Speakers, will be around $100/pair. You might want to consider separates for the front stage (woofer/tweeter with external crossover) depending on how much time you spend in the car, those can be had for about $150/pair and up. And, re-consider a sub - road noise sucks the bass out of the car audio experience that a sub makes up for, even if you don't listen to hip-hop. :P
Installation for a deck and 2 sets of speakers can run about $100. Sometimes reputable car audio shops will have installation included in the package price.

Kodiac, I see that your located in Montreal. Try JD'S CAR STEREO on 10925 Cote De Liesse 631-2102. They're great and very friendly. Danny, the owner is very helpful.

I would also say reconsider the sub.... not only does the road noise suck out a lot of the bass, but you have the problem of the lack of proper enclosures for any of the drivers.. they are all "free-air"... if you install 6x9's in your system you will likely hear your door panels resonate... giving that "hollow" sound that lots of factory stuff has... add some dynamat if that's the case. Car audio is a pain in the butt sometimes....
