Despite my personal reservations about Hans Zimmer (he uses alot of uncredited ghost writers and is essentially a theme writer now and has been for over 2 decades) this was actually the best concert I've watched in a very long time. I went into it expecting nice arrangements but bad sound and an alright performance since RCP scores are wonderfully over produced and I was just blown away. The performance is on point and the mix is beyond almost any concert I've ever seen. This is highly recommended and anyone who has Atmos should tell me if it translates well.

Watched the performance on Netflix through my stereo system and would say the music was stellar.

I cannot say I am a fan of Hans Zimmer though I've listen to electronic music for 38 years, 2 songs I thought were awesome, think it was Spiderman and Aurora. The bass was taxing on the speakers as it went down pretty low. Definitely audiophile material if you have the system for it. This concert however was classical not electronic which I believe was his genre in some movie scores.

I plan on purchasing the blu-ray concert video when and if I find a job, but as for now it's Netflix.

I ordered this Blu-ray last week and can' wait to watch it. There has been a lot of buzz about this concert Blu-ray on the home theater forums, with very positive reviews. The atmos effects are supposed to be very good. I will be watching/listening in my home theater in 7.2.4 atmos and will post my thoughts.
