I wouldn't spend more than whatever Mogami of Canare costs from TFA or BlueJeans, given this is for home theater. That should come in at around half your budget if you only need 1m in length.

I've used both and prefer the Mogami for no apparent reason. +1 for Take Five Audio.

+2 on the Mogami, nice stuff and Take 5 is awesome to deal with. Enjoy the AVM60, it’s a great processor for h/t and even manages to sound pretty damn good on 2 channel music.

I'd take a look at some entry level Wireworld for your setup. Cool thing about their entry level, is you get the same insulation (although not quite as much) as the higher end stuff, but at entry level price. With the amount of signals/cabling/powerlines running through a HT setup, shielding/insulation is a must.

Home theater always has a thinner stretched budget due to more channels, but I have done a few setups with good cables, and it is amazing the separation/localization/envelopment you get with good cables. Well worth it.

I guess that depends.....everyones idea of "top quality" is different....

22ga 98% ofc with basic geometry, generic shielding, and basic ends is nowhere near "top quality" in my opinion....
