John was a great guy too. Steve ... not so much. I played in a punk rock band in those days, and John used to sneak up on me and cut holes in my shirts with a pair of scissors.

He didn't realize that I really didn't care. A safety pin or two and I was good to go.

What punk band did you play in. I likely saw you. Went to Beal and well that says it all lol.

How old are you, I went to Beal as well (?)

With all of these ex-London audiophiles here, I'd like to ask if anyone remembers a very hi end audio shop that was located on the west side of Richmond street very close to Queens Ave ? I think they only last a year or so around 1972. I believe they carried SME and Thorens. I remember being awestruck by the gear.

There was Richmond Sound. Schneider Sound was on Dundas I think and the Audio Center was near the fair grounds.
There were a lot "distractions" in those days so my memory may be a bit hazy.

I am an x Londoner and the store on Richmond and Queens was called Kechnies Sound Emposium if I remember correctly. I dealt with them a bit but was more a guy that hung out at The Audio Centre and then London Audio. Used to go to Schneider Sound now and then and there was The Power station. Don't forget Target Hi Fi on Dundas
