Recently acquired this piece and had my tech go over it. I was simply blown away after some minor tweaks and small repair. I have owned almost every TOTL receiver you could possibly imagine including three Luxman R 117's in the past (that I have sold) and this is by far a keeper in every sense of th...

Very peculiar thing happened yesterday evening. Set up a small office system and wired everything up with some trustworthy gear that has served me well with zero issues. Office environment is full of static. (mainly due to the brand new carpet installed) It seems like everything I touch gives me a n...

I feel lucky! I think my Super 7 numbers are cashing in tonight. If the wife didn't mind I think I could handle the list albeit I would be broke. Looking at that list I have a few of those that I didn't mention. That HK piece mentioned sounds nice and that Rotel piece is absolutely gorgeous but I ha...

Apologize for the spelling errors. Nursing a hangover from last night! Rye whisky, white wine, beer, sambuca, and tequila don't make for a good morning or day after. LOL! Check out the Drake Hotel in Toronto for a positive vibe and very interesting and friendly people on a Thursday Night but please ...

Just came across this thread and read a few posts. I have personally met the man a few times and purchased some really neat vintage gear that I have been thrilled by. Everything posted for sale by this individual is as should be and in perfect working order. I don't know the full history of his tran...

Thanks for the response. I also own eight subwoofers that I have stacked four on top of one another thus this is all making sense to me now. Should not be a problem.

I'm certain that this next question has never been asked before. We all know how speakers that are unshielded cause regular CRT TV's to go all wonky when placed in close proximity as opposed to speakers of the shielded variety. The question I put forth is can you place amplifiers, cd players, receiv...

Let's try this again. Someone teach me how to spell. JBL L100T

Waking up every morning @ 5:00 a.m. to tend to the kids has a way of catching up on you. Luckily the wife understands that the listening room is mine.

In my modest humble opinion, I hereby declare this large floorstanding speaker to be the greatest I have ever heard! Incredible dynamics, tight impact, open sounstage, beautiful midrange, and smooth extended highs. Did I forget to mention it can handle hundreds of watts of power rather easily! Tryin...

Simply stunned with the customer service @ Denon of Canada. Incredible customer service if you can believe. A service manual was pulled from their archives and the fuse in question was easily verified and eight spare fuses were shipped out @ no cost. Unit was up and running in a matter of minutes. I...

Let's see now! Sixteen or seventeen pairs of loudspeakers, eight or ten CD Players, fourteen receivers, thirteen integrated amplifiers, six tuners, four turntables, cables coming out of the ying yang, a few tube pieces, and by the way, thirteen power (my personal arsenal when the neighbors upset me)...

Slowly running out of room. The addiction has taken a back seat as of late and the WAF in our home is at an all time low. I'm running out of room to store several (and I mean several) audio speakers ranging in size from dimunitive, to small bookshelves, to massive floorstanders. I have never contemp...

Hey guys, was a bit sloppy with my speaker wire onnections and I shorted the right channel output on the above mentioned unit. Tremendous power on tap and it is a real shame that I shorted two fuses n the right channel output. I'm not a tech but the fuses are standard 5mm by 20mm and are rated @ 125...
