The hope for Americas future is that moderates win in the end. However given Trump I can see a hard swing left before the middle wins out. Avenatti was the Democrats' version of Big T and I would not have been surprised if he made a run, and went deep into the DNC nominations since he has more appea...

Sorry to leave you hanging for a bit. Ah, the Ditton 100. They were my dad's first nice speaker - he brought them over from England and used them until he acquired the Ditton 44. He kept the 100 around for so many years then used them as rears when he upgraded to a Pro Logic receiver, the eventually...

Oh snap, this is bad... Avenatti being taken in on suspicion of domestic violence. I'll wait to hear the facts, but if this goes the wrong way it won't be good for the great hope.

Single track...So, if there's someone else coming the other way...or even trying to pass... IMG_20180614_152540.jpg Imagine a corner in a crit...only in the dirt...with crazier people, wider bars and rocks... Ah OK I get it now, sounds (and looks) like it would be exhilarating until you get into th...

The Time ATACs on the DeKerf Team and True North CX date back to 1997. The Speedplay on the Prodigy are 1998 - had to replace the shoe components once in that time frame but then again, I'm very careful with my gear. I feel that these pedals have saved my knees from...surgery? I tore my right ACL i...

I've got a 29er Specialized for distance, a 27.5 Devinci for commuting and light trail/mountains, a ridiculous looking vintage Alpinestars, an old Norco DH pig that refuses to die and a busted Norco Aurum that needs service before next summer. I suck compared to most riders here in B.C. but it's st...

Looks, um, painless. I'm trying to decipher what happened to require such a lengthy scar. Fractured clavicles usually don't need surgical repair.

27.5? What is that? Is that like some kind of metric tire size??? All bikes got ridden this weekend but the CX most of all - just put the "snow tires" on it and it was a blast down in the Don Valley... . I see you have the Speedplay pedals on your Prodigy, how long have you used them and ...

I bought a Specialized Sirrus hybrid bike last summer, great cross training fitness bikes. Don't roll yours like I did  I keep a few sets of wheels around with different styles of tires to suit terrain. A fatter tire will offer a little more cushion at the cost of efficiency. On the road surfa...

I see what you did :D and will tell you that not being blind to these things is a forte. In keeping with the topic, my first bike was a top mountain wheeler. I had traded a projection TV to a friend in exchange for his 'spare' ride - a 1998 Specialized S-WORKS M2 frame with all the fixings: Spinergy...

In these days of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion are you willing to accept road bikes into the discussion? Regarding your question about going to a wider tire, I can only affirm that going wider will indeed smooth the ride out. And, at least on the road, going from 23C to 25C does gives an improved...

This reminds me of a similar device an audio pal uses on his TT. I can't remember the manufacturer, but it's a contraption found in copy machines used to take away charge from the exiting paper. It's not as elegant, but it's certainly cheaper than the ERQ. Sending him an email now and will check back.

https://www.alliedelec.com/panasonic-er-q/70036425/ I can't remember the logistics of how I picked mine up, but google is a friend in these cases... Actually a good price, given the state of the dollar now compare to when I bought it. I picked a mic boom stand (Røde, from Moog Audio, but similar ava...

I have the benefit of non-carpet flooring but still have arid conditions in the winter time. When I first acquired a turntable I noticed that dust and cat fur was getting drawn to records while they were playing. Reading the many threads on this topic helped me tackle the issue at many different are...

Those sub end tables are genius, and in a system where space is shared should really be given thought more often. Old_School, I was going to double up on ripblade's recommendation to match the mains as your surrounds, but since you've stated there might be a procurement issue I won't  , so now...
