My Components:

Went through Nad, Arcam, Yamaha, rotel, and Musical Fidelity. Out of all the old MH B200 I think it was the most realistic, musical and enjoyable but would run really hot and have issues; not most reliable circuit but better sounding. Also had an old Cyrus 2 amp with optional power supply that wasn't the most refined but very punchy and dramatic sounding with bags of detail it seemed; a lot of fun but tiring on long auditions.
I think a lot of the new amps lost some of the magic of the old ones. I guess they're all trying to find the perfect balance between refinement and excitement while having a dependable circuit. I currently have no system besides some NHT SuperZero 2.1's I bought on sale unused sitting in my closet. Looking to match them up with an NHT sub and compatible amp for 2 channel only. I'm thinking Exposure 2010s2 or 3010s2 will have good synergy with them since I read the NHT's are giant killers but analytical and the Exposure is musical and warm with a lot of prat. I'm thinking NAD D3020 and Wharfedale diamond 220's for a small bedroom setup.
