I purchased my first record in 1965; of course, my mother paid for it, a Ventures lp when I was 5. Later on that surf sound showed up in my copies of The Velvet Underground with Nico and The Jesus and Mary Chain etc. Getting on to audio, I purchased my first good audio system in 1977: Jensen 24 speakers, Sansui 661 receiver and a Taya (Toshiba) belt drive turntable. Probably, items I regret selling or, in the case of frying were an ESS mini monitor with a passive radiator with the famous EMT tweeters in the former, and a Marantz receiver in the latter instance. Now, I have come across a really good company and product in Finale Audio and Triode Labs. So much so, that I have become a Dealer to spread the good words and work of Robert Gaboury and Frank Ing.
