Copying Scott's (Arcadia Audio) demo model ;) to all members of CAM in good standing.

This is a 1m cable with RCA's, yet to be named and priced.

Rules that apply:

1. You get to keep the cables for 1 week
2. You agree to ship (expresspost) to the next person on the list
3. You will post your impressions of the cables

Please respond to this thread if interested, and then PM me your mailing address.

Let's have some fun! 8)

Let's keep users impressions at the forefront for now - what you hear is most important.

This can be a bit of a twist - the consumer can decide how much this cable should sell for. :o

I had these cables in my system for over two months (thanks Omer) 200-300 hrs of listenning time. They came to me with 0 hrs. Right out of the box they sounded pretty good, and got better for the next 15-20 hrs. But then no more improvement. Compared to my Ascendants they had an in your face lively sound, bass was lighter. My Ascendants are a quieter cable, darker with more contrast which suits my taste better. But pending your system tonal tendencies it might be the cable for you. Thanks again Omer you truly make our hobby fun :D

I'm down with checking these out. I've got lots of Omer's cables in my system already. Another pair won't hurt!

Thanks Denis, and welcome to CAM!
If I may post your intial comments from an email you sent me:

Sound, right at the start they reminded me of my Ascendants, very neutral, nothing wrong with these cables. Actually pretty good considering there were o hours on these cables.
Hour 10, cable seems to becoming more coherent and more resolving which makes it more involving and musical.
Hour 15, on Patricia Barber's Cafe Blue, song A Taste of Honey, I witnessed a great sense of depth and sound stage presence that I've never heard before on my system with that song. I know this is a great recording but I was into new territory. That is what inspired me to write this.

Doesn't Denis posting his comments about the cables here kinda defeat the idea of sending them around to get unbiased opinions?

Aren't the rest of the people now going to be looking for, listening for and expecting the same type of results?

If they don't hear or imagine the same or better characteristics of the cable, will they tell you or not want to admit their ears are not as golden as the previous listener?

Just wondering.

As far as pricing goes,I have also had some experience in "Zen Pricing".

What do you perceive to be the value of this product?

Most times works in the favor of the seller because he is asking about the value, not what they want to spend.
All sales are about establishing value and if you do that the price is not a issue.
As more value is established, the higher the price can be.

State a price too cheap and it means that you don't really want or like the product.
Has little to do with wanting to save money.
You haven't seen the value(yet).

Too high and it means you think it's better than even the seller believes it to be,setting him up as the nice, honest guy who can then give you a deal as you are about to run around advertising for him.

Nine times out of ten, when I have asked a customer to come up with their own price,it is higher than the one I had in mind.

Psychology is the ultimate sales tool.

Hmmmmm? So you've been playing me against myself have you? ( I thought that I was safe doing that alone and with the blinds closed  )

Now that I am armed with this knowledge I think I will be conducting business with you in a very differernt manner from here on in Bill

BTW I agree completely with your other comments with regards to the 'premature evaluation'. I think pre-bias can be a very powerful influence.

Then again if you're anything like me then what was learned 2 minutes ago is probably already half-forgotten :? :? :? D'oh!!!

Cheers
