Hi everyone,

So it seems pretty certain I will be moving to Vancouver from Hamilton, or the Toronto area. I have close to 3000 lp's and I would really appreciate hearing ideas that you have or have successfully used to transport such an amount. Maybe I need to start making little wooden crates???

Good news is this won't happen until September/October so hopefully heat won't be an issue. And that gives me time to make those crates perhaps. :-/

Thanks in advance.

I purchased boxes from Shipper's Supply in Edmonton to move my records. They were a 12 3/8 inch cube, obviously originally conceived for LPs, and still readily available. They made a nice solid brick when full and light enough to pick up. Shipper's Supply has warehouses across the country. I remember the boxes being around two dollars each. They sell wholesale only but any company reference will do and you can pay with a card.
