Anyone know a good reliable blu ray cleaner? My machine doesn't read the disc's anymore and i suspect it's a fouled head that needs to be cleaned.

Better off replacing the machine honestly, unless the unit has sentimental value to it.
New players offer STUNNING performance for the dollar now.
And, when you consider that a proper clean and tune by a tech will cost about $150-ish...........
Don't bother on store bought "cleaners", they aren't even worth the plastic they are packaged in, and will do more harm than good.

Good advice. A friend bought a little LG unit for $75.00. I had it pegged as crap but the little bugger is actually pretty good.

Jeez, just get a can of air and give it a real god blow job. My OPPO stopped reading the disc, and that's all I did. Only had to do it once. Just unplug the unit and let it dry for a few minutes as the rapid expansion of the air creates condensate.

agree with the above comment. try a quick blast with canned air first.
my Sony bluray was jammed up with a disc stuck inside.
after i unplugged it and replugged i got the disc to come out.
then a good flash of pressurized air and it was as good as new.

cheaper than a visit to the service shop.
and also cheaper than a new bluray.
