Here's an idea. On another thread ( viewtopic.php?f=32&t=49244&start=0 ) our esteemed member Tom_r made a suggestion about starting a subforum dedicated to Oracle turntables.

Oracle has been in business since 1979 and the Delphi has long been a part of the audio scene. I support the creation of a forum like this. Oracle products have many fans, and it seems many CAM members have crossed paths with the products of this company and they also continue to produce new products. From Delphi's to Alexandria's, to Paris, and now Origine. (did I miss one ?)

Does anyone else support this ?

I support the idea too.

I have a Delphi bought new in the 80's.
But... believe me or not, having several home, I lost her since around 15-20 years !
I wish I could find her, one day.

Despite I do not own an Oracle product I like the idea. However, in defense to many long lasting companies that also enjoy a strong following, where do we end with sub forums? Not trying to rain on the parade, but I can see further requests for other very popular products. (singed: the lonely Bryston owner. :( )

I support this. Long time Delphi III owner (upgraded motor and controller board to V).

Please I want a Nakamichi sub-forum

It's true we don't seem to typically have manufacturers forums here at CAM. Maybe there's a reason for it, I don't know. I'm behind it because Oracle is really an iconic Canadian company in the audio world. (and they make turntables :P )

To last this long building and servicing "obsolete" technology and building a fan base like they have is commendable.

Yup, don’t forget the Premier (almost at the bottom of Oracle's Legacy Products page: https://www.oracle-audio.com/legacy-products)!

Count me in. One reason to have this Canadian product in a dedicated sub-forum is that turntables, unlike many other audio products, can be upgraded and tweaked which can be brought forth in a forum environment. Unlike say the aforementioned Bryston which has a 20 year warranty. There's not much there to discuss.

As great as it is I am not so keen for reasons others have listed. They aren't the only Canadian company that has produced stellar audio equipment, I think the traffic would be low and where should the line be drawn in subforums?

I always wanted an Oracle but now that I can actually afford one I love digital more.
