Take Five Audio will be offering cable conditioning (burn-in) at no additional charge until Friday Feb. 16th 2018. This offer applies to all of our custom built cables and also our Deep Cryo Treated outlets. No codes or coupons needed when purchasing your cables or outlets just select the burn-in option from the dropdown menu. Please allow 5 - 7 days for the burn-in to be completed before shipment.

I am skeptical of this but open minded too.Can you explain the process in a way that makes sense to the uninformed.

Our burn-in offer is aimed at folks who are "skeptical but open minded" it's a perfect way to hear for themselves firsthand the effect burn-in has on new cables at no additional cost. If someone were ordering two pairs of identical cables they could have one set burned in and the other straight off the bench if they were wanting to experiment and see what burn in is all about. They should have no trouble telling which set settles out quicker, particularly with silver and OCC copper. Over the years I have found that different materials respond differently to the treatment but I cannot explain to anyone what exactly is happening during this process because I simply do not know. Fortunately this does not impede my ability to apply the process or hear the result.
