Taras introduced me to this album.

Humongous stereo sound. Huge space, with good depth. And Joe Williams, an expert at riding a ribbon vocal mike, to perfection, right to it's limits.

This is one to keep an eye out for. You're in the studio with them and the lady can sing.

The Banjo Consorsium.. Album "A Turning One". From Sherbrooke QC. Folktronic. Super production, inventive instrumentation, unique and great beats. A must in headphones good and loud. Under rated to the core. All is spot on...https://thebanjoconsorsium.bandcamp.com ... urning-one

Also some other older songs on...https://thebanjoconsorsium.bandcamp.com/album/le-debut

A friend who is a music writer in Toronto turned me on to this album in the 80s. He said Peter Buck of R.E.M. mentioned it as a favorite. I can't say the whole album is great, but this single (which was also issued as a 45) is so warped it's killer. All praise King Hannibal's "Truth", his album on Aware Records.
