I have just discovered a great source for free streaming classical and baroque music that I would like to share with those that may not know about this site.

Barely any talk, just great music broadcast from Greece. The organization is user sponsored through donations so there are no adds. Makes the current CBC look like the government **** heads they are.

The music is broadcast in MPEG at 320 kb/s and sounds great to my ears.

Here is a link to the main web site, "The Audiophile Stream Network":

https://stream.psychomed.gr/

Here is a direct link to the classical stream:

http://8.38.78.173:8093/stream

Here is a direct link to the baroque stream:

http://8.38.78.173:8045/stream

Let me know what you think.

I have heard the jazz stream and it is one of the better online "radio stations".

Thanks!

The direct link to their classical feed is: http://orion.shoutca.st:8978/stream

They are indeed broadcasting at 320 kb/s.

I will give it a listen.

Thanks, good tunes.

Here is the direct stream: http://178.33.232.106:8030

This one broadcasts at only 128 kb/s. This stream has significantly lower resolution than the others in this thread.

Do you have a link for the stream? I haven't found one yet.

Personally, I use my Ipod Touch as a tuner, plugged into my DAC. I use different apps for different stations and one called HIDEF Radio for high definition music streams. Within the app, there are literally 100s of streams to chose from. Unfortunately, not all streams are 320k, as some may be 64k and 128k, but a lot are available in the highest resolution.
