The two speaker companies have a very different house sound. Both of these are high end, at least in Canada.

How did you decide between these two - the Sopras are pretty widely sold and are one of the better selling high end speaker series while I think other SF series sell better.

At that level, you will likely be running at least a Toyota Camry's worth of amp, source, wiring, room treatment and accessories which will really affect how good either of those two sound.

I have both. You can PM me if you want to know more about how they sound. What do you listen? Sopra has better bass response with overall fuller sounding. Olympica 3 is all about sound stage and clarity.

Hi, I would like to get in touch with the person who has the Sopra 2's and the Sonus Faber Olympica III speakers.
I just purchased a new pair of the SF O 3's and not loving them. Considering getting the Sopra 2's or a pair of Monitor Audio PL-200 or PL-300
I'm coming off a pair of SF Amati Homage speakers, which I love, but am going to be moving to a smaller home.

Agreed. Focal sound isn't for me. Sonus on the other hand, I never have a problem warming up to them speakers inc. my toy towers. Match with certain Euro electronics and be ready to be amazed. The right match giveth and the wrong match can taketh away
