Who in there right mind would pay 22k for a pair of speakers and pay with emt without seeing and listening to them.
Is the seller for real?
These speakers may be the best speakers money can buy but i sure would want to listen to them before i fork over that much coin..
Wishing this seller the best of luck.
its too bad as i would go for it if there were two pairs.
lol

Very strange, no audition pay in advance and pickup without hearing them? Guy is either crazy or just put them there to see if there is any interest.

"or best reasonable offer" is what I read. Must be the right ad, DIY speakers at $22,000. must only be one.

It looks horrible. Looks like my kid put it together in my backyard. I don't see much of the crossover either. I don't know why no audition because if I'm proud of my creation, I want people to spend some time with it.

Ad also says "No shipping or send your representative to pickup the items".

The Nigerian scammers will be all over this, they are always willing to send their shipper to pick things up. :P

$22K for that labour level - crossover caps hanging behind the high frequency driver...

What might be a realistic value, if everything is working and as described?

I guess the point is you can ask whatever you want for whatever you are selling in audio equipment. It's just that if you are realistic you can't expect serious responses with that type of ad.

A man spends three years sourcing, designing, building his ultimate speaker system. His wife tells him the speakers are ugly, too big, looks like insects, etc and DEMANDS he sell them. So he advertises them to appease her.

If I was in the market NOT to sell my speakers, this is how I would do it!
