Hello was wondering if anyone could recommend something that doesnt break the bank, but has a decent range for electronic music. Im ordering a T-amp from ebay, I need something modestly flat if possible that has a strong stereo image. I heard of tannoy reveal passives but havent seen them for sale ever around me I think. thanks for any help.

What is your budget? That will help for sure. Everyones idea of "budget" gear varies wildly.

Trutone Electronics in Mississauga is a Tannoy Dealer.
Probably pricey.

Here's a couple that fit into your budget.

Yamaha NS-30X for $120:
http://www.canuckaudiomart.com/details/649336856-fs-yamaha-ns30x-speakers/

- 180 W
- 6 Ohm
- 92 dB sensitivity

Sony SS-K30ED for $200:
http://www.canuckaudiomart.com/details/649199789-sony-ssk30ed/

- 120 W
- 8 Ohm
- 88 dB senstitivity

No affiliation with either seller.

EDIT: ignore the Sony's. 10 Watts won't be able to really drive them.

Energy C3 speakers, good speaker, made in Canada and you should be able to find a pair for your budget or less. As an alternative, the Energy C1 is almost the same speaker but with a smaller woofer and of course, for even less money.

I'd recommend the PSB Century 300i or 400i. I previously owned the 300is, surprisingly good for the price. Check Kijiji, saw some there recently in the $80-100 range.
