I was reading reports from CES 2017 and it appears we can look forward to a new Totem speaker called the Signature One which will fill in between the old Model One and Mani-2. It uses the current Forest 6.5 inch bass driver and the 1 inch SEAS tweeter. I'd be interested to hear this one - anyone else?

Here's a quote from the report:

"Totem Acoustic launched the Signature One, a monitor speaker that’s the successor to the company’s much-loved Model One. This new speaker is said to present a nominal 8-ohm load for easy amplifier matching, and the 6.5" woofer has a 3" voice coil for high power handling. An aluminum-titanium dome tweeter rounds out the driver complement. The Signature One’s price is $2595/pr."

I think they accidentally printed old release info from when they unveiled the Model One Signature back in the day. After the signature model they came out with The One model in limited numbers.

As fat as I know the Sky was the only new release.

No, I called Totem to verify and was told there will indeed be a new Totem Signature One. Looks like the top of the Forest Signature using a 6.5 inch woofer and the SEAS tweeter. I was told we are about 3 months away from them shipping.

That could be exciting. I'll talk to Nico about it next week! I read what you had quoted days ago on the web and figured it was a misprint.

Very cool! They have great bookshelf speakers at every price point. The Metals look awesome in white.

I believe that's the Totem Sky. They look very similar.

Tend to agree, the mid bass drivers would be much closer in size if the small speaker pictured had a 6 1/2 driver. The metal's driver is seven inch's and looks much larger than the one in the stand mount.

Stone, I've have Sky's on the way and have owned Mani 2 Sigs and DreamCatchers in the past so I hear you.
I actually asked for the Sky's because it just doesn't seem right to not have at least one pair of Totems in the house. :)

Definitely not the Sky as that model uses the Morel woofer and Muller soft dome tweeter. The Signature One pictured has the SEAS metal tweeter and Dynaudio/Hi- Vi style woofer.

Size is deceptive in the picture but if you were to cut a Forest in half the dimensions work compared to the Metal. Not to mention Totem themselves verified the new Signature One was displayed at CES and should ship in a few months. This was confirmed to me this past Friday.
