I listened to the flagship on 3 different days during CES. If I could use one word to summarize them it would be "extreme".

The Persona 9H weighs 190 lbs and has a frequency response of 19hz - 45khz +/-2db, sounds pretty extreme to me too.

I don't see anything really surprizing about those figures for what is basically a 2 way standmount with a supertweeter and a built-in 4 driver, 1400W, DSP/ARC controlled isobaric subwoofer.

190 pounds and $19,000 EACH. that's only $100/pound!

I like that 3F. It's as "small" as my Studio 100. The other models must be engineered to suit and fill really large rooms.

All I would ever need or want would be the 3F...maybe the 5F
I'm not man enough to move around a 190 lb speaker any more nor do I have a 30' x 100' listening space
They all share the same mid, so I guess its how much bass do you want and how large your room is.
I wonder how they compare to the old Signature line, I imagine they must be a significant step up.

They don't sound like any Paradigm I've heard. The closest would be the Prestige line. It's refreshing to see them change things up. The 9H is in a price category full of heavy hitters.

James: Comparing a Studio 60v2 to Studio 100v4, the tone characteristic is very similar, but more power. Comparing a 100v5 to Signature 6v3 is also very similar, with further refinement in the treble and more natural sounding midrange.

So, this one sounds very different. Could you perhaps explain? I know that can be difficult.

They sound extremely clean and visceral at high volumes. The soundstage is very wide. There might be the possibility of listener fatigue but I didn't have any. If the ARC works as well as it does with the ESL 15A's they are probably managable in rooms of different sizes. Here is a pic I snapped when I got a chance to hear them without a bunch of people in the room.

Good evening everyone

Just took possession of my Paradigm Persona 5F

I really did not want to spend this kind of money on a pair of speakers, however....

Nothing from B&W, Sonus Faber, Monitor Audio, KEF, etc at the same price point or even slightly higher comes remotely close to their sound.

It took me 15 months to hear B&W 803 d3 series all 800 to 804, Sonus Faber Olympics III, Focal Sopra 2 (Which is the only other speaker that compares to the Persona), Monitor Audio Platinum 200 and 300 old and new series, Kef reference series.

The short of it.... If you want your ears and brain to hear everything from your music than do yourself a favour... buy a pair. Nothing on the market will compare.

They will surely astonish you!
They are beyond words!

To each their own and I'm sure they are very good but I find your statement hard to believe. From JBL 4367, Nola KO2, ML Expression, Hartbeth 40.2, ATC SCM 100 to Wilson Sabrina's and everything in between there is plenty of competition out there. Once you hear enough good gear absolute statements like that sound pretty silly.

This reply is for Music1. Are you able to tell me what you paid for the Persona 5F? Also, did you compare it with the Monitor Audio Platinum 300 II?
