HI. New member here. Could I get some suggestions for cassette deck service in the Greater Toronto area? I have an Aiwa AD F770 that I'd like to get serviced. Thanks

Tom is expensive. Try the Dimateck since he the best in the city for Nakamichi, Studer, Revox, Aiwa....tape decks with the reasonable labor. Tom couldn't fix my Technics B100 but Dimateck found the problem and fixed it in 3 days. ansnote@hotmail.com

I don't feel that TM Electronics' rate is expensive at all. Fair hourly rate for excellent service repair. In addition, his qualifications & experience far exceed his rate(s).

If you want it done correctly the first time, this is the guy. Regarding Nakamichi/Studer/Revox servicing, he works closely with Roger Ginsley at Tekx Electronics...between these two guys on the tape front, there are no equals.

Happy Listening.

I got a TASCAM 144 Portastudio fixed for a very good price at National Sound in Toronto.
That deck is a 4 track cassette deck that is loaded with electronics since it has a mixer in it.
