I just had a thought on starting a thread similar to "What's Everybody Listening to Tonight" !

After some great live tunes and movie with Gumby and Lil' Pokey I thought I would settle in with some Prime Buffalo Chicken Wings...
Really tasty plump wings great for the munchies... 8)

Oh no Man, I grill my wings now, they mostly come from an oriental guy in the Hamilton Market or from Wegman's in NFNY, mostly huge and basted with Frank's Buffalo Wing sauce or PC Buffalo wing sauce. But I'm still roughly Tony Soprano size so it aint workin' ...and only crud or salad with that...

Well, it was last night but Fridays we frequently have some sort of Thai style curry.

Chicken, onions, garlic, celery, (bamboo shoots and sliced water chestnut if available), coconut milk, and a tablespoon or so of green curry paste. Served over rice. Easy.

I'll be doing a 'beer can' chicken on the BBQ with some baked potatoes and other veggies on the side.

Went to Yabo, which is kind of a goth biker-bar restaurant with outstanding food.

I had Lasagna (best I've ever had outside of the family recipe from Italy) and 2 Stellas', my sister had Chicken Milano and me Mum had Crab Tomato Bisque and a truly awesome creation called Scallop Volcano: chopped krab, jumbo lump crab and shrimp mixed with spicy mayo and baked, served with pickled ginger and wasabi aioli on top of 3 jumbo scallops.

Mom didn't think too much of the Volcano but sis and I stepped up and made sure the plate was clean before it got back to the dishwasher. :)

Lts, funny you mention KD, missus and I were just discussing how much better the Mac n cheese is when bought fresh outta the heated deli section at Safeway over cooking er at home. I think they use Velveta cheese instead of the powdered "orange death" ya get in the boxes...

LTS try and put something green on yer plate tonite. Like broccoli.

And listen to Ron: if you dig the Mac 'n Cheese, forget the Kraft Krap ("orange death" ) and go for something slightly less processed like this. Had some recently and I was surprised at how delicious it was. Healthy? No. But tasty? Damn straight. And it's good Canadian food.
