First off, I'd just like to say that I am an OZEnterprises employee and have been there for just over one year.

Since the debut of Unity Audio, I have seen and heard quite a bit of interesting gear.

When I first started working with the Unity Link cable, I thought to myself, "How on earth is this going to sound good, let alone sell?" Once I terminated it and cleaned off the BFA connectors, I hooked it up to the Jolida JD1501 hybrid integrated amp which is connected to a Cayen CD player and the famous Studio Lab, Reference 1 speakers.

Before I connected the Unity Link, I was listening to an 8 foot pair of AudioQuest Bedrock's. (which are also great)

I turned the amp on, let it warm up a moment...pressed play on the CD player and was amazed.

This sweet sound coming from a twisted quad of 99.99997% pure, oxygen free copper and 14 gauge conductors was warm, present and honest.

The non-biwire version is 11awg, with gold BFA bananas as standard termination. Each conductor is insulated with PVC insulation, with an outer PVC jacket, covered with a silver and black Techflex jacket.

It also comes just about anyway you can think to order it!

No voodoo, just good materials!
And with great value, great price!

For more information or to order your pair of Unity Link cables, please visit www.ozenterprises.net

Thanks!

Adam :D

P.S. Be on the lookout for Unity Interconnects!
Also available - Unity power cables and speakers!

Holy shameless plug Batman!
Since Unity is a startup brand, we're using all the means we can to spread the word, including sending out samples, and posting a non-biwire 8 foot pair on eBay as a loss-leader.

We will also have some new hybrid designs and power cables on display at the Montreal show, and 2 models of speakers.

OK . . .

Edjamacate me a little please.

I have Totem Dreamcatchers (c/w Bi-Wire terminals) connected to an AMC 25100 5 x 100w Solid State Amp.

What benefit would I get using a set of Unity bi-wire cables vs just a standard single speaker wire (in my case a better grade 14AWG "bulk" wire)?

Obviously, if the benefit is measurable, I'd be keen to try a set if you are offering samples to try.

Dude they're only C $36.00 right now, why not bid and try it? I don't think there are any quality audio brand cables (just home depot stuff) available that cheap... even at $99 it's a steal.

You'd have to get into a pure Teflon dielectric cable to better this and the prices skyrocket.

i bought a pair last week. They are breaking in nicely.

Mostly listened to music and watched tv through out the week. But with some speaker changes coming up I will not be able to give a good review on the surround aspect of the sound experience

When I hit the 100 hour mark I am going to listen to Sonic Youth Sonic Nurse again to see if there are any differences.

So far I can only comment on the quality of the materials. Which I would rate as a well built speaker wire with good banana plugs that plugged in snuggly on the back of the intergrated and the speakers. The first day I listened to 4 hours of music ( sonic youth, orbital, Meshuggah, plastikman ) I noticed improvements over the old speaker wire I had. Which I will admit was getting a little grey... DIY with spades and at least 8 years old. To say exactly what that improvement was I cannot say. My wife said the room was a little fuller with the music and I would have to agree with that statement but I cannot pin point exactly why. I know this is not a great review but its my opinion.

They blend in nicely with the flat wire 12g sound king have going to the rears and rear centre and the centre speaker cable ( dayton audio )

Perhaps Unity Link can make some flat wire available down the road :)

Heh . . . just bid he says. Like I'd win them automatically if I did. If it were only that easy.

I'll ask my question more specifically . . . if I were to invest in the Unity Link biwire speaker cable which Oz currently lists at $140.00 (not $36.00 unfortunately), what benefits would I get?

How does splitting a common speaker terminal output into two signal conductors improve or help the speaker? Why do it at all?

Bid whatever amount you're comfortable with and let nature run its course.

Generally with a very pure copper in an arrangement like that, and well terminated with good connectors, you will probably hear a much smoother top-end with more articulate bass. Dynamics (namely rhythm and drive) should improve. Depending on your system and ears there might be other dimensional benefits, but I'm not going to promise anything. The other guys can chime in.

Don't worry . . . that's my S.O.P. with eBay. It's just that I've been sniped so many times it's not funny. Damned bots! :D

I wish. :P

These are from the now-bankrupt Unity Audio from the US. They went under about 8 years ago.

Officially, our name is UnityAudio.ca so it can be differentiated from the old US brand, and the still current store in the UK.

Check the pic... nice... but speaking of cables, either those are really huge speakers, or he's using lamp cord! :P
