Anyone have any experience with Integra electronics products?

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly?

I toured a guy's all-out HT, and he used the then new 990(?) 99(?), and it did everything that a processor needed to do.
Last I heard from him, over a year and all is well.

This was a 100k$ room.

I have Onkyo Integra PR-SC885 pre/pro and it is awesome. Also, vintage Integra amps and tuners are very high quality, especially Grand Integra models.

IMHO, much better than regular mid-fi stuff.

Reliability issues with the Onkyo/Integra line abound. Do some reading over at the AVS Forum. Their support seems tragically lacklustre.

I have used Integra stuff for years and have yet to have one issue. I'm currently running the DTR-80.1 and the DBS-30.1 and both perform perfectly. I have actually gotten my in-laws into some entry level Integra gear and it again works 100% with zero issues. I would personally take the new Integra stuff over anything Denon, Yamaha and the like are putting out these days.

Interesting, Two dealers two different views.

Andrew what was it in particular did you find to be an issue with the integra products.. was it specific to a model, or year?

Omar, you noted concurrence with the positive feedback on the line, do you have any further comments to add.
