I guess I can have it for 30 days and take it back for a full refund?  I'm also dying to know the price tag of the 3 years extended warranty on these MLs :D And, don't forget to price-match and get the extra 10% on the difference  Get some Monster 15.2M (50 ft.) Speaker Cable (XPMS-50 MKII EU) @ $54.99 along the way!

HOLY CRAP!!! I knew that BB had the lower end, non-electrostatics in certain premium locations (Magnolia) but not these 2 models. The Vistas are selling at the same price as they do at authorized dealers ($2649 each, $5298 a pair) but the sopurces are half the normal price at $1499 a PAIR!!!! Either is it a pricing mistake and they mean each or one incredible bargain. From what I have been able to see, the speakers will not be available in their retail stores, only on-line.

PS: Just got off the phone with an authorized ML dealer and seems that the Vistas are being discontinued and liquidated and the black Sources are also being doiscontinued; only the Cherry ones which are not available at FS will remain available, so this is probably just a one shot deal on these.

Why would you need a 3 year extended warranty on MLs? They come with a 5 year warranty. Oh, and forget taking them back to the store if you have anything but a minivan or full sized van; the boxes are HUGE and you can't fit just 1 box in any SUV I know of except a Suburban with all the rear seats removed!!!

Felix, if you want to hear them before buying, you can always come over here and listen to mine or go downtown to AudioShop on Mountain and ask Patrick to audition them.

I guess the sarcasm is lost on you  and I bet you have never shopped at Failure Shop before

(I have transported a pair of Innersound EROS in their boxes on my German compact wagon... it did take me two trips, though. So I'm fully aware how large the boxes can be and, yes, I agree it can be a chore  )

Oh, I caught your sarcasm all right QuadESL63!!!! I was just saying not to waste money on the extended warranty and making the point about the huge shipping boxes in case anyone else took you seriously. Oh, and don't even THINK about moving them without the original boxes (don't ask how I know  )

What a great find, this is awesome, really cool!! I find it interesting that FS sells better speakers than BB, i'm referring to Energy I guess...does this mean that BB has higher end video??

Whatever the case, this is really cool, finally the general public can be exposed to the concept that the sound AND the video make up the entire HT experience and just because you can't see the sound (unless you've smoked something really good) it doesn't make it any less important.

Too bad FS is such a ****** overall shopping experience... :) good start tho, way to go FS, keep it coming!

I worked at FS when BB came bought them and came to Canada. The line was always that FS was going to be a higher end of the two stores.
I am going to FS tomorrow to help a friend get a deal on a TV. I will find out what cost is set at in their system for those Martin Logan's. All the costs in their system are false but they usually show higher margins on speakers than just about anything else in the store.

Unfortunately I don't think the general public will be able to get the full concept of the Martin Logan sound as I highly doubt that the people at Future Shop will be able to set them up properly even if they knew how, which I doubt they do.

Just noticed them a couple days ago too.I think the prices were each, not for the pair.
I proceeded to explain to the salesman why the Sony Blu-Ray player they were using,
isn't a good enough source for them. The look of bewilderment on his face was priceless.
Gave me a good laugh.Am i the only one who finds the sales people in FS particularly
annoying? They seem to hire the most ignorant and pushy people out of the big box stores.
Maybe it's just the ones in my area.
There seems to be a fair bit of this lately.London Drugs are selling Tannoy, Sony Stores the
lower end PSB's.I guess it's hard to survive off the Hi-fi dealers nowadays.
Everybody seems happy with there ipod docks for music lately.I don't get it.I haven't heard
one that sounds better then a clock radio.Even the B&W Zeppelin sounds like rubbish to me.

What are you gonna do.

Yea, this is very true, I don't even think I could set ML's up to their full potential let alone the FS employee...I mean this as an audio enthusiast of course, no disrespect to FS employees...but it's a very valid point, FS doesn't extend the effort to their audio systems as they do to their video systems but if I owned FS I'd probably do the same....it also appears they're selling ML's online only (?) which doesn't help the matter. As a cynic I'd also point out that they're selling ML's, which, to a newb with $ to spend at FS is enticing by virtue of the fact that it's an entirely different technology than traditional speakers which affords certain bragging rights...with this in mind, if FS were to start selling Totems that'd be a different story.

Nonetheless it's a step in the right direction as the B&M's don't have the resources to expand the hobby in the same way FS does.
