A rather dramatic bunch of statements there!
The cellphone pics leave a bit to be desired...

What was that Steve Miller song with the lyrics "take the money and run?

The crappy photos make the speakers look like 1970's Technics.

The studio crew were impressed it seems.

As usual, few will ever hear or be able to afford these.

Too bad he didn't aim at the entry level market and manufacture in China, the brand name conjures that up for me, as do the photos of the speakers.

How can you believe all the hype when there isn't one word about the cabinet beuing constructed of some type of special material, the woffers hand formed from all matter of unobtainium, and the crossover and internal speaker wire makes no mention of solid gold anywhere?

Without any thing out of the ordinary mentioned about the construction, how out of the ordinary can they be?

He could have retired a millionaire if they perform as stated and cost $2000.00.

Everyone would buy a pair, and he could have monopolized the market.
Same thing for the electronics.
Sell them with the speakers for a package price of $3500.00 and watch the competition fade away.

As it is the Hertz hurts.

The pictures are actually fine - just scaled way down in the source code of the page.

Right-click them and view the image alone - nice high-res versions there lurking...

Weird looking gear, even with better pictures...

Mark Levinson does not, and never needed hyperbole to justify his equipment. It stands and sells on it's own merits. Levinson has a well deserved reputation for defining what "high end" means in terms of build quality that's beyond reproach. Considering what some questionable gear lists for, I think the prices are quite reasonable.

  Great, more over-priced boat anchors for people who like "Badge Audio" and get suckered into paying ludicrous amounts for under-peforming, undistinguished shrapnel.

I have heard just about every piece of Mark Levinson gear produced over the last 20 years and never had the remote desire to buy any of it. Pretty for sure, musical? not as far as my ears go.... To each his own I guess...

Actually if I remember correctl. The big JBL'S were being powered by ML amps. Maybe that's why his speakers had a familiar sound.
