For the DIY experienced or newbie,
I just tried the Furutech FC-11 PCOCC COAXIAL CABLE raw for interconnect
They are easy to construct, lots of copper for vocal mid, can be done in 20 -30 minutes for a pair or your lunch time
Quality sound very warm i use for tube amplifier as interconnect RCA
Warm open free beautiful quiet and good for long term listening
paid for the price of two MCD big mac+ per feet so very within budget
So try top Furuteh quality you should / would not be disappointed.
For sonic quality, I tried some Kimber Hero, PBJ, & Nordost Blue & Red to compare too.

results may vary due to materials, solder, rca used & workmanship involved

They are dark blue thicker cables about 7mm diameter, so DIY need to use wider RCA jacks.
  :) :) :D :D

75 Ohms... should this be used for video or COAX SPDIF?

Very versatile!

True 75 Ohm cable construction ensures faithful sound reproduction or picture quality. Versatile multi-application interconnect.

[size=150]The characteristic impedance, ZO, of all cables vary significantly with frequency through the audio range of frequencies. The ubiquitous RG59 coaxial cable that we all know and love and refer to as a 75 ohm cable has in fact a characteristic impedance, ZO, of about 4 k ohms at 30Hz and only approaches its 75 ohm value at frequencies higher than 100kHz! Only phone companies are likely to have cables long enough to make the use of delay equalizers mandatory to compensate for such problems.

I dreamed and heard my setup too bright while i heard some audio fairy princess telling me to relax and enjoy audio nirvana.
Then, discussions with good audio friends referred me to use 75 ohm cable as stereo interconnect.
Any members have any other explanations!

Ummmmm, yeah tcoctkoc. RG-59/RG-6u is designed as VIDEO cable, not Audio cable as its impedance vs frequency characterists indicate. I've always told people that it is definitely NOT acceptable for making Sudio interconnects despite some people swearing that it sounds great. I even made up 5 sets of custom ICs a while back using top notch RCAs and a variety of different coax cables and none of them came even close to sounding as good as regular cheapie no-name interconnects, even after a 200 hour burn-in. But I guess that it takes all kinds to support and champion various tweaks.

So far so good!

I used it specifically to tweek down high treble brightness of my tube amp.
It is working!

Cheers!

While it is playing now,
it sounds warm and squeakingly clean and nice mannered.Definitely a very nice return on a small investment, for the comparable price of the cheapest brand name cable.
Now only using some "El Cheapo nameness" RCA connects!
Ah, just imagine, WBT, Cardas, .....so it goes 9 pm evening dreaming before sleeping time.

P.S. I did use some WBT-0800 nice silver solder to brighten it up a tiny bit. Not using Rats Shack solder of course!

No promotion in my mind.
It is a DIY project which is in line with the forum area DIY.
There are differnet opinions on the use of 75 ohm vs the traditional interconnect cable.
I am expressing my opinion based on a DIY project i took and the results i obtained.
The brand i mentioned is one of many many 75 ohm brands. I just wanted to be specific about the one I used and the technical details of it. The brand is also widely available.
You are welcome to post a DIY project as well, without reference to God.
