Last week, federal investigators raided the offices of Michael Cohen, the man who has been closer than anybody to Trump’s most problematic business and personal relationships. This week, we learned that Cohen has been under criminal investigation for months—his e-mails have been read, presumably his phones have been tapped, and his meetings have been monitored.

Even if Trump pardons Cohen, the information the Feds have on him can become the basis for charges against others in the Trump Organization.

Mr Fixit will have a lot to think about if and when that pardon arrives.

........' New York, where Cohen is admitted, actually addresses presidential pardons in its laws, says Fordham Law School professor Andrew Kent.........If a New York attorney was disbarred due to a felony conviction, and such felony conviction was subsequently reversed or pardoned by the president of the United States, the New York courts may, but are not required, to reinstate the pardoned attorney.'.....&

Comey escalates war of words with Trump, speculating the Russians may have compromising info on Trump, and that there is evidence of obstruction of justice in the president's actions and that Trump is "morally unfit" for office. Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway criticized Comey on Monday, accusing him of peddling a "revisionist version of history" and sinking into the "gutter" with petty comments about the size of Trump's hands and the length of his tie  I foresee tweeter attack from Trump any time soon  https://www.usnews.com/news/politics/articles/2018-04-15/trump-again-calls-comey-a-slimeball

+1  And Trump's stupidity makes America even dumber and dumber. European NATO countries including Denmark are too afraid to say no to the Americans, and the disastrous and very expensive F-35 project is a good example. The Danish politicians are too afraid to say no to buy a fleet of F-35's from the Americans to replace the existing fleet of F-16's. The clumsy F-35 is too slow and hopeless in dogfight, and is too noisy too. The F-16's co-designer says even the MIG-21 from the 1950's would beat the F-35 in air combat dogfight. I've e-mailed to some of the Danish politicians including the Danish Defence Minister, and the Prime Minister last year to try warn them against the F-35, were I suggested they should instead be focusing on the French Dassault Rafale fighter jet that is considered one of the best dogfighters in the world that is on similar level as the F-22 Raptor and the Russian SU-35, (http://www.indiandefencereview.com/news/rafale-is-the-best-fighter-plane-in-the-world-air-chief-marshal-denis-mercier-2/) , but I got no response from any of the Danish politicians. :( At least Canada cancelled the order of F-35's

...interesting indeed...

Trump puts the brake on new Russian sanctions, reversing Haley’s announcement The Washington Post

"The Trump team decided to publicly characterize Haley’s announcement as a misstatement. White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement Monday: ;We are considering additional sanctions on Russia and a decision will be made in the near future.' "

Kimmel had politely withdrawn some of his remarks about Hannity, to which Hannity responded he was still prepared to do battle if Kimmel started up again. Looks like he'll likely get his opportunity tonite. Or maybe Kimmel will let him stew for another day....

"That his instincts are anti-Democratic. That he has done everything to malign the press. That he has underplayed the whole role of the judicial department," she said. "What he really does is make clear that he doesn't understand the way a Democratic system works and that gives a lot of comfort to those authoritarian, proto-fascist people that are out there. And he is not playing the role the US needs to play, which is the leader of the free world." Madeleine Albright

...some proto-fascists think they're only being righteous...which tells you a lot about righteousness...as it is self-described...

"By any standards of any normal newsroom, the Cohen-Hannity relationship is a glaring conflict of interest."

...the self-righteous seemingly don't quite understand the concept known as conflict of interest...

The biggest problem with these guys is they're so dumb they can't find the same page to stay on. I would have to bet that Cohen mentioned Hannity to induce A/C privilege as he knows something incriminating....
It's amazing how such dumb people can create such a thick plot.

‘This is not some tin-pot dictatorship’: Comey pushes back against Trump’s suggestion he be jailed The Washington Post

“The president of the United States just said that a private citizen should be jailed,” Comey said. “And I think the reaction of most of us was, ‘Meh, that's another one of those things.’ This is not normal. This is not okay. There's a danger that we will become numb to it, and we will stop noticing the threats to our norms.”

Comey is getting some heat from 'FBI people', cough, republicans, cough that he's damaging the case maybe. When you read into it though, those are four carefully chosen words that will fester in Action Man's craw tonite. Bet he comes out raging worse than ever in the morning. He keeps raging, Comey keeps calmly twisting the knife, til he pops....

Meanwhile Stormy and her bulldog are offering a $100k reward for the name of Trump's goon. They're going for the jugular. her best move now would be a breast reduction, it's probably the only two things harming her cred....
